Well if you have read my last post then you will know what this one is in reference too.... I am ready to kill my kiddos and rip my hair out if it doesn't happen soon. apparently I am not handling this as well as I thought I would. Can't wait for Matt to get home from work and give me a much needed BREAK!! I just gotta stay strong.....however this is how I feel and Im afraid what Matt is gonna come home too..... (P.S. If you click on the picture you get the full effect....minus one kid in my case)
So apparently I have already been slacking on my resolution to keep this blog updated :( However I have started new things since then as well. This has got to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.....I got this right??
I am giving up two of my favorite things and this is unbelievable hard!!!
It has been 3d:2h:34m:12s since I have had one.....i feel like my head is gonna explode and I just don't feel quite right.
The second one is much harder......
It has been 34H:48M:27S since I had one of these. I feel like my chest is collapsing and I am on edge. I feel like I am gonna die!!
Just another hard thing right?? Not sure how this is gonna work out but surely can't be the death of me right??
However I have come to this conclusion.....
I GOT THIS!!!
Well as you all know from my last couple posts I am trying to clean and de-clutter my house and also my life. This latest project went a little further than I had planned on but I LOVE the finished result.

During:
The next step:
And finally (yes its the same corner of the house):
I have to say that I am quite proud of myself as I did this by myself with very minimal "help" from Kadyn.
New Years Resolutions have never been my strong point. I always make them but after about 2 weeks I give up and life continues as was before. This year I have made several resolutions and I am proud to say that up til now I have been working on them and am actually quite proud of the progress and determination I have found deep within myself. One of my resolutions/goals for this year was to de-clutter my house. I have never been good at deep cleaning or organizing. Sure, my house is clean but its not by any means organized or immaculate. So I have been working on a project a day. Sometimes its a closet, sometimes its a shelf, sometimes its just washing light switches. Here are a few pics of the projects I have completed....the before and the after (and yes I am a little embarrased at some of the before pics)
First thing I did was the game closet

This is just a sneak peak into what I have done. I will try to post more as I go.
I know that I am way behind on my blog and for those of you that "follow" me I apologize. This is one of my Resolutions and I am only about 3 weeks behind schedule. I want to create at least 2 posts a month to keep everyone updated on our little family and our projects and it will give me something positive and productive to do :)
This year for Christmas we had to change our schedule around due to Matts work schedule. So, to start things off the boys wrote letters to Santa asking him if there was anyway he could come early so that their Dad could be a part of hanging stockings and waking up to presents. Lucky for us he replied and surprised us with a visit on the 22nd of Dec.
The boys are very into Legos this year and that seemed to be a trend for any and all gifts they recieved. Both from Santa and Mom and Dad. This was their big gift from Santa this year.....
Matt had his last day of rotation at work on Thursday so we finally got to open our presents on Dec 27. Grandpa Tim also came down that night and spent our Christmas with us. He also brought Legos!! All in all it was a great Christmas this year.
So...Apparently life doesn't stop when you don't have time to blog. All is does is make you realize how fast life is passing us by. So just a quick update to let you all know that we are still here and that we are all doing well. I promise we haven't fallen off the face of the earth, and I will update with an actual post when I finally can find the time to sit and do so :)
Welcome 2011 !! Oh how I hope you are a better year for us than 2010 was! We are only a week into the year, but we have had many changes around our house already. Our first one was on the 2nd. We sure didn't wait long did we?? LOL We (mostly me) decided that we wanted to redo the bathroom. We finished the whole thing in one day. Does it count as one day if we finished in the wee hours of the morning of the 3rd?? It was just a little change for us but it's amazing how much a coat of paint can do to make you feel better about things.
I have also decided that I am going to start painting and doing different decorating and crafting things around the house as a little pick me up. This week I did something small (well other than the bathroom). I painted and redid a basket that I have had. It sits next to the piano is filled with toys. Even though it is still by the piano and filled with toys it just looks so much CUTER!!
Also, we added another member to our family. Her name is Juarez (yes like the one on G-Force). The boys absolutely ADORE her already.
They like to let her out of the cage and run thru the house. We haven't lost her yet but I am sure that time will come. I pray that I don't find her in the dryer or something when the time comes. Other than that life is pretty much still the same. We are hoping that this year Matt will get to move to a daytime position, but you never know. Well, that's all thats new for now. Here's to a great NEW YEAR and hopefully lots of new and excting things will come our way!!
